The Sitting Room is my personal work, motivated by my interest in the connection between art and science, consciousness, possible realities and philosophy. I am explore my personal interplay between lucidity and obscurity, the ego and nothingness, and self discovery within these spaces. These pieces reflect my journey of self knowing, identity, and overcoming my fear and embracing my magnetism towards the unknown. It’s about the continuous loss and recreative process of self narratives and expressions, a desire to being open to finding pieces in the places I’m most afraid of. Being open to meeting new parts of my consciousness, with an aim to accept and utilize my minds natural tendency towards abstraction and pattern, so that curiosity drives my continuous progress to repaired wholeness. It is about this fear and the longing of surrender.
