Deep Fuzzy Memory

And I play this particular fuzzy track in my mind on a dampened repeat. The channels created by its’ humming vibration cut deep through all reasoning, repeating, shaking until its’ pattern shows itself. It designs itself in deep chasms like tightly crumpled ball of paper, and then throws me that ball every time we think we hear the intro again. Yet I find that I’ve never heard that song the same way, like that one time. Everything thereafter is an audio illusion, replaying a version that I finish only in my mind. The song is different, it’s becoming fuzzier, it turns into another song, I loosen the paper a little more.
